FREE CONCERT + FESTIVAL
September 27/ Benjamin Franklin Parkway /
2 p.m. - 7 p.m.
We’re
throwing a huge, FREE concert and festival to officially welcome and celebrate
Philly’s native and adopted scholars.
An incredibly diverse line-up of international performers and local talent
will rock the Parkway! Artists include: Armor for Sleep, The Cool Kids and Twelve Twenty on the Intern U Music Stage; Victor Victor Band, Robes and PattyCrash on the Campus Philly Local Stage.
ALSO: food, festivities, the Campus Philly Involvement Fair,
TNT Red Bull Freestyle Motocross, free admission to 11 museums with College ID and thousands of students
from the Philly area.
Free and open to the public. All ages.

Watch three Freestyle Motocross (FMX) performers throw huge tricks off 60- to 90-
foot jumps in rapid-fire succession.
College
Day on the Parkway
Ben Franklin Parkway / 10 a.m. - 5 p.m.
Philly’s cultural establishments will offer free admission on the
day of College Day to anyone with a college ID. Enjoy art, exhibitions,
special programming and tours, and make sure to take advantage of the
free shuttle running from eleven different locations along the Parkway.
Some places include the Philadelphia Museum of Art, the Franklin,
the National Constitution Center, the Rodin Museum, the Eastern State Penitentiary
and many more. A free bus loop is provided between all institutions.
Campus Philly Involvement Fair
Ben Franklin Parkway / 2 p.m. - 7 p.m.
Whether you're new to the Philadelphia area and want to get to know its communities better, or you've been here your whole life and feel like it's time to do something in your neighborhood, Campus Philly's Involvement Fair is the best way to get involved.
Nocturnal Skateboard Demo
Ben Franklin Parkway / 2:00 p.m., 3:10 p.m., 4:10 p.m.
Come watch the skaters of
Nocturnal Skateshop do what they love best: skateboarding. Catch one of their half-hour demonstrations.
Canvas Clash in LOVE Park
16th and JFK Boulevard / 2 p.m. - 8 p.m. /
With the concepts focusing on "creating change," six groups of artists will work to create a piece of art on six unsual canvases in two hours. While the artists work, there will be music performances from The PoPo, The Hustle and The Peace Creeps.
