For the record: Do the Monster Mash

Ah, Halloween—the overabundance of single serving, bite size candy, those random Halloween costume superstores that pop up in abandoned warehouses and “Thriller” on every radio station. All Hallow’s Eve has a playlist all its own, and depending on how you celebrate, it’s different for everyone. Here are a few essentials (in addition to the two aforementioned classics) that this lover of Halloween thinks should be playing at everyone’s party this year:

“Halloween “– The Misfits
“I Put a Spell on You” – Creedance Clearwater Revival
“Werewolves of London” – Warren Zevon
“Bela Lugosi’s Dead” – Bauhaus
“Nightmare on My Street”– DJ Jazzy Jeff and the Fresh Prince
“Walking with a Ghost” – Tegan and Sara
“96 Quite Bitter Beings” – CKY
“Come Little Children” – Hocus Pocus
“Theme from Tales from the Crypt
“The Time Warp” – The Rocky Horror Picture Show

Check out the complete list here.
