For the record: Boo are You?

It’s FINALLY starting to feel like Fall and you know what that means: time to start thinking about what to be for Halloween. If you’re still in the market for a costume, here are a few suggestions (in no discernible order) from the traditional to pop culture faves to the plain, old hilarious.

1. President of the United States: People were dressing up like Barack Obama before he even took office.

2. Vampires: Bill, Edward, Blade, Lestat, Elvira, Dracula. Like it or not, the vamps are here to stay. Regardless of the recent surge in their popularity, the undead have always been a Halloween constant.

3. Kate/Jon Gosselin: This would just be downright hysterical. No lie, I’ve seen Kate wigs floating around.

4. Michael Jackson: MJ has always been a popular costume. But with his passing, he’ll no doubt have an even greater presence on All Hallow’s Eve. Go as the cast of “Thriller” and break out the dance at parties.

5. Group/Theme Costumes: Pick your favorite movie, band or video game and dress up with your hall mates.

6. Abstracts: Get creative and personify something abstract like a season, color or feeling.

7. Adversaries: Vader and Skywalker. Batman and Joker. Angel and devil. Grab a buddy and pair up!

8. Go green: Do your part to spread the message and get people’s attention as a saved whale, recycling bin or an energy saving CFL bulb.

9. Pirates: Go back to the days when piracy was swashbuckling fun and not an international security breach.

10. One (or all) of The Beatles: The Fab Four had so many different looks over the years it’ll be hard to pick just one.
