For the record: We all need Spring Break when…

Mid-terms have hit us all hard and we are all right around the corner, clenching Spring Break. For some it may be this week, others hang in there. Whether you are a lucky one enjoying break this week or still waiting I think we can all agree with this countdown. You are well aware you are in need of a spring break when…

5. Your Facebook status is worthless - it’s always about work and school
4. Your planner becomes a countdown to break instead of a planner
3. You start beginning to think its fun to do homework
2. You daydream about sleeping
1. Sunburns actually sound appealing

Career

Volunteer to help UNICEF put an end to the preventable deaths of children due to a lack of clean water.

Do you want to help UNICEF change the lives of millions of children around the world who need access to clean, safe drinking water?

Every day, 4,200 children die from waterborne diseases. UNICEF believes those numbers should be zero. To raise awareness about this critical issue, the U.S. Fund for UNICEF launched the Tap Project, a nationwide campaign that provides safe drinking water to the world's children. During World Water Week, March 22-28, 2009, restaurants across the United States will encourage patrons to donate $1 or more for the tap water they usually enjoy for free. Every dollar raised supports UNICEF water, sanitation and hygiene programs. Just $1 provides a child with safe drinking water for 40 days!

UNICEF needs your help, Philadelphia! Register to be a Tap Project Campaign Volunteer and help UNICEF recruit and support the thousands of restaurants needed to make the campaign a success. Visit http://tapproject.org to learn more and to register as a Campaign Volunteer today! Contact tapproject@unicefusa.org with any questions.
