FOR THE RECORD: Philly's Bleeding Green...another victory?
Can this be Philadelphia's year? In the fall we painted the city red and now we're bleeding green as the Eagles advance one step closer to the title Super Bowl Champs.
This Sunday at 1 p.m., the Eagles will take on the NY Giants, defending Super Bowl Champions, at Giants Stadium. Will the Giants two-week break compared to the Eagles one-week make the difference? Let's take a closer look and throw out some numbers. Earlier this season when the Eagles played the Giants, the games were certainly tight. First win went to the Giants, 31-36, and the second to the Eagles, 20-14 . Looking at the stats, in my books it's going to be an intense game, but definitely not a long shot!

Greater Philadelphia Martin Luther King, Jr. Day of Service
Make It a Day On, Not a Day Off
January 19th, 2009
Volunteer on January 19, 2009 during the MLK Day of Service, when tens of thousands of volunteers serve throughout Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Delaware in the largest King Day event in the nation.
Whether you're a civic organization or a group of friends, if you have an idea for a service project, you can participate in this year's event. Many of your schools will be hosting events, but if your organization wants to be involved and doesn't have a project in mind, you can register for volunteer opportunities through the United Way's website. Also, when you register your own project, you'll get free t-shirts and the ability to recruit extra volunteers. We encourage you to use United Way's resources at mlkdayofservice.org to make this January 19th a day to make a difference in your community. For Campus Philly's Day-of-Service guide, visit
