FOR THE RECORD: "The challenges we face are real"
This past Tuesday as millions gathered and watched President Barack Obama was sworn in as the 44th President of the United States. During the course of the day and within Obama's inaugural address, the message of challenge and determination was delivered. As college students, Obama calls the younger generation to play a key role and realizing that we are the future and in many ways are stronger than the older generations to new ideas, concepts and revealing hope. If for whatever reason this past Tuesday you happened to miss the Inaugural Address, be sure to check it out. It is posted throughout the web as well as the video itself. Obama will be our President for at least the next four years, so become acquainted with your new president's plans and call-to-action.
"Our challenges may be new. The instruments with which we meet them may be new. But those values upon which our success depends - hard work and honesty, courage and fair play, tolerance and curiosity, loyalty and patriotism - these things are old. These things are true."- President Obama, Inaugural Address
