FOR THE RECORD: You're officially back in college when...

...You run out of clean clothes because you haven't done laundry, nor do you have any desire to.

...You walk around with bloodshot eyes because you never sleep; yet you are persistant that you are not exhausted.

...You find yourself talking to your professors more than your friends.

...You see the cold pizza in your fridge from the night before to be a delicious dinner.

...You no longer "get dressed" for class, sweatpants have become your new fashion statement.

- Megan Pellegrino, Cabrini '09

Since 1987, thousands of fundraising walkers have gathered each year to participate in the region’s largest annual HIV/AIDS public awareness and fundraising event – a walk-a-thon and 10K Run.  Over $13 million has been raised for HIV/AIDS public awareness, prevention, and care services for people living with HIV disease.

AIDS Walk Philly is held annually on the third Sunday in October.  To learn more about AIDS Walk Philly, CLICK HERE.

VOLUNTEER NIGHT- TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 9, 5:30- 7:30pm

Over the summer, volunteers in every corner of the state helped collect letters from LGBT and allied people in support of non-discrimination legislation. Now, we have a VERY urgent need to sort and send these letters to our legislators before the legislative session resumes mid-month. On September 9 we’ll host a volunteer night to organize and sort the thousands of letters we have to make sure we get them in our state lawmakers’ hands this month. As always, we’ll provide pizza and soda, and a fantastic time.
For more information, email jkaskey@equalitypa.org.
