Second Annual Student Service Leaders Conference
The second annual Student Service Leaders Conference is a great opportunity for students to participate in a day dedicated to fostering enthusiasm for service and social justice, building practical skills in service areas, and opening up the nonprofit and service community of Philadelphia. The conference is being held on Saturday, November 8 at Drexel University. This is a free opportunity for students, and lunch is provided.

The conference will center around two separate sessions addressing different aspects of community service and nonprofit issues.  The first session will be dedicated to perspectives and problems in specific areas of nonprofit service such as Hunger and Homelessness, Education, Public Health, and Environment, facilitated by nonprofit leaders within those areas, while a second session will be dedicated towards practical skills needed in the nonprofit and volunteer world: volunteer recruitment, fundraising, and technology's role in service.  There will also be session for students to network as well as a panel on Nonprofit Career Development.
