FOR THE RECORD:The Phils are Headed to the World Series!
Unless you were living under a rock Wednesday night, you have heard the news and probably screamed at the top of your lungs when the Phillies clenched the National League pennant. It's offical the Phils are headed to the World Series!
It has been 15 years since the Phillies have been in this position and quite frankly, I believe the time has come for the Phils to take it all! The only thing left to do is celebrate as we wait in anticipation to see if it's the Rays or Red Sox taking on the Phils!
Congrats Phils!

Watch the Vote 2008
The University of Pennsylvania Law School has partnered with InfoVoter Technologies, CNN and "Watch The Vote 2008" -- a coalition non-partisan voter advocacy organizations -- to monitor the upcoming Presidential Election on November 4th, 2008. Students are invited to serve as paid election monitors ($10/Hour) and categorize recorded voter complaints from two national voter hotlines, 866.MYVOTE1 (promoted by The Tom Joyner Morning Show, and "Watch The Vote 2008") and 877.GOCNN08 (promoted by CNN) that provide voters with automated poll location information and allows voters to record up to a 60 second comment about their voting experience. Your work will enable real-time analysis of voting irregularities as they arise throughout the election. To register to become a paid election monitor, click HERE

YOUR CHANCE TO HELP VOTERS ON ELECTION DAY
Become a non-partisan poll monitor.
Committee of Seventy and the Lawyers’ Committee for Civil Rights Under Law are now registering volunteers for their Voter Protection Program. Your participation is needed to help keep the November 4th election clean and fair. Sign up for a training session and Election Day shift at www.seventy.org/volunteer. If you run into any problem when you go to vote on Election Day call our hotline at 1-866-OUR-VOTE.
