FROM THE EDITOR'S
DESK
FOR
THE RECORD: Procrastination?
Me?
Okay, so I've passed round 1 of midterms, with round 2 just around the
corner. I've went through the graduation application and picked my classes.
Yet, even with all that done, the workload is still piling up, despite
my efforts.
I've noticed
that in the past couple weeks that my procrastination skills have reached
a new all-time high. I even have sat down for two hours to alphabetize
and categorize my CD and DVD collections.
As much as
I want to procrastinate now, I know that now is not the time to lose focus.
The best thing to do when you're getting frustrated with your work is
to simply take a short break. Get a cup of coffee or watch a half-hour
of TV. Now that the weather is a little colder, go out and take a short
walk. Then, come back to your work. This way you won't feel as great a
need to procrastinate.
I'll start
working on this.
