FROM THE EDITOR'S
DESK
FOR
THE RECORD: It's
really almost December?
Is
it me or does it seem like school started just yesterday? Remember having
to choose a seat in your class, remembering new faces and having to face
the long lines in the bookstore for new textbooks?
Within two to three
weeks, it will all be over—well, for at least a month. Then you
get to start the cycle all over again. While it feels like my workload
has increased two-fold (oh the stress!), just keep in mind that there
is a lovely break coming up to relax and enjoy. Maybe you'll read that
book that you didn't get to look at during the semester or catch up with
old friends. Maybe you'll pick up a new hobby or sleep in every single
day.
Either way,
it's a nice little motivating factor to get you through all the papers,
finals and presentations.
- Brittany
Sturges, Temple '08
