FROM THE EDITOR'S DESK
This is now: Philadelphia Chooses Nutter
After months of heated debate, court battles, and increasingly negative
TV ads, the race for the Democratic candidate for Philadelphia's mayor
is over. Philadelphia Dems have selected former City Councilman Michael
Nutter as their choice for the City's new mayor. Until recent weeks, Nutter
had been a dark horse candidate, but his profile rose exponentially after
he was endorsed by all of the area's major newspapers.
What would a Nutter administration mean for you? Read about his stance
on the issues in this week's top story by Uzy Igweatu, Meet
Michael Nutter, from our Mayoral Guide.

the University of Pennsylvania is looking for healthy volunteers to participate
in a research study focused on the phenomenon of aspirin resistance.
Volunteers need to be non-smoking and non-pregnant individuals between
18-55. Qualified participants will be compensated for their commitment,
2-8 visits based on eligibility, and will receive study related examinations
at no cost.
