A baseball game is a great way to spend the hot summer evenings--especially when the final score can be considered record-breaking. If you haven't heard by now, the Philadelphia Phillies are currently one game away from losing their 10,000 game. Though it may not seem like a big deal or perhaps something to celebrate, it is. When the Phillies lose their next game, it will make them the only team in professional sports history to have lost that many games. The Phillies
will be playing a game this weekend and the outcome could change history. If
anything, the loss can be considered a testament of how Philadelphians
feel about their sports team. Love 'em or hate 'em, fans stick by their
teams--and that's exactly what we're doing. It's just another reason why
Philly is called the City of Brotherly Love.
