FROM
THE EDITOR'S DESK
This is now: Valentine's Day Hate
The day is done. Chances are, whether you were lonely, snowed in, or disappointed by your date, Valentine's Day wasn't enjoyable. Campus Philly decided to compile a list of things we don't like about the holiday to make you feel better:
1. The skyrocketing price of roses.
2. Cheap teddy bears that come free with the purchase of cards.
3. Receiving one of those free teddy bears as an actual gift.
4. Headache-inducing crowds and three-hour waits at restaurants.
5. Drunk people who sing love songs in restaurants.
6. Aisles full of crap at the CVS; no sweet, homemade cards.
7. Red and white hearts on everything.
8. Guys feeling pressured to
spend money and do things they normally wouldn't to avoid pissing off their girlfriends.
9. Girls spending the whole day with expectations of being spoiled (and often
being disappointed).
10. How everyone pretends to be loving for one whole day.
