2 COOL FOR SCHOOL: Feed Me!

GRRRRR! Hey! Yeah you! Look down…it's your stomach talking. Don't ignore me like you usually do. I don't complain often but I feel the need to get something off my umm… viscera. You see, I'm hurting both inside and out. In the mornings, you either ignore me or you stuff a donut in me to shut me up. Then you go and have the nerve to fill me with Taco Bell and deep fried Oreos later on. I can't take it anymore. Campus Philly and I want to help you make better eating decisions, for my sake and yours. I know your brain is far away and sometimes he and I have trouble communicating, but this has got to stop. I can handle any more Taquitos. I will revolt-and it won't be pretty. Let's make a deal. How about you and I go on a date to Dahlak for some traditional African food or Bridget Foy's for a juicy T-Bone? Or how about we try this nifty Italian place I've just read about (yeah stomachs can read) about a nifty Italian joint called Mr. Martino's Trattoria. I need some real food here buddy. Otherwise, you will pay severely. Check out the Campus Philly Food Guide for more delicious options for any occasion. If you won't do it for yourself, then please-do it for me.

Candles, a warm ambience and soothing music...that's what you want for the ideal romantic restaurants. Check them out.

You're with a big crowd of hungry people. What places are great for a big group of ravenous college kids?

Uh-oh...the 'rents are visiting and for some reason they're not pining for cafeteria food. Where to go??

UPCOMING EVENTS

Thur 16

MYX: Multicultural Youth Exchange

Rashanim performs Masada Rock: The Music of John Zorn

Imagine a sustainable city. Now imagine that city is Philadelphia. Hmm…I don't know about that Mr. Ron Gonen. Your lecture will need to convince me of that, so it had better be good. Free.

Trying
Try showing your grandfather how to use the Internet. Not so fun is it? Well, 25-year-old Sarah and her 81-year-old boss, Francis Biddle, struggle in the same manner, eventually realizing how their huge differences will influence each other. Prices vary.

Fri 17

Journalism Workshop with Michael Vitez

So your friends are preparing for their St. Patty's Day parties by wearing stupid hats and by speaking with bad Irish accents. Ditch your lame-ass friends and see some real Irishmen and women perform traditional dances and songs. Prices vary.

Russian National Ballet
If your perception of St. Patrick's Day is what I described above, and you'd rather stay home and sleep, forfeit the boozin' holiday and mingle with Eastern Europeans instead. Directed by Bolshoi dancer Sergei Radchenko.

Intimate Apparel

Moderately priced.
