Robert McChesney, professor of communication at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, and journalist John Nichols discuss their book, The Death and Life of American Journalism: The Media Revolution That Will Begin the World Again.

With online media on the rise, America could very well see the demise of the newspaper industry and democratic journalism entirely.

McChesney and Nichols are also co-founders of the media reform organization, Free Press, an institution that attempts to combat these issues.

Copies of the book will be available for sale and signing.

RSVPs are necessary, as seating is limited. Please reserve your seat by Friday, Feb. 12 by e-mailing rsvp@asc.upenn.edu with the subject line, "McChesney/Nichols book talk."
